Concept
"Bodo" is homonymic of the Taiwanese term "Treasure Island". The motivation of our brand was to provide a comfortable place where people could feel relaxed at the end of the day. We incorporated Taiwanese retro culture in modern style, and provided the services of beer and playing with cats. Hello Bodo is not the bar that makes you high, but the bar that makes you chill.
Vision
We hoped the local spirit of Taiwan gets closer to everyone's life.
Slogan
Thank God It's Bodo (#TGIB)

SWOT & 5W1H Analysis

Cost Benefit Analysis
Product Development
The name of the products (beer) was designed by each team member's hometown since we were all from different cities in Taiwan. The items applied ancient names of hometown combined with the cats, and the cats symbolized 6 team members!

Functional Map
Refer to what the product content is, how the functions are organized, and how the page hierarchy is distributed. It allowed members to quickly browse important information such as content, functions, and structure.

Flowchart
Verify all functional states that may occur when the user operates, which contain the process of the marketing-oriented purpose.

Wireframe
The wireframe includes three interactive functions of the menu, news, and shop cat Bodo for AR experience.
-
Menu: Provide two options of "select beer by cat" and "select cat by beer", allowing users to read the menu according to their preferences. For more information, users can click the button to link to our official website
-
Bodo: Users can slide horizontally on the screen to rotate our shop cat - Bodo, and take a screenshot with it
-
Info: By browsing images, users can link to the posts on our Facebook fan page. We would update the latest promotion and various event schedules on AR experience and Facebook to enhance customer loyalty and interaction among customers

Prototype
Used simple UI objects and scripts for initial testing, then continuously made adjustments to ensure the version was optimized and followed the schedule. Version 2.5 is the final version of our project.

Version 0.1
iOS - Unity

Version 1.5
iOS - Unity

Version 2.5
iOS - WebAR

Usability Testing
Every time releasing a new version, my team members and I would test with different devices and different systems to find the bugs and collect more data.
Feedback
Programming
Created the scenes and scripts in Unity, developing the functions of: Animation, Switch scene, Switch screen, URL link, Rotate objects, UI object control, Menu, Corresponding page, Lens detection, etc. I would discuss the requirements with the UI designer and then adjust the parameters, and solve the problems to improve the project.
Taking note of problems helped me clearly understand and debug by searching the solutions and tutorials on the Internet, or asking the instructor. Most were technical problems, such as the adjustment of parameters and functions.

Marketing
First, our team did not post many promotions in every post, but created for fun to arouse users' attention and interest. Second, we created the stories for products and cats, making the products more touching to users. Third, we made festivals and theme nights to attract users come to interact with mutuals and for consumption.
Online Marketing
Our team promoted ads by 4 mainstream social media to focus on building brand image.
Offline Marketing
We designed a printed business card for a real consuming experience in a brick-and-mortar store. Users can scan the card through the function of the image tracker, and then link to multiple social media through the augmented reality icons.

Outcome
We succeeded in marketing and AR-product design. Many users sent messages or left comments on the posts and looked forward to our opening business. Also, we attracted 2 potential investors and went to their companies for presentations.
